Last month Martha Wissing released a great pattern, the Rosalie Poncho.
Martha’s poncho was written for Berroco Ultra Alpaca or Modern Cotton, it is a versatile garment that is adaptable to your climate. The lace boarder detail adds knitterly interest and shows Martha’s great talent for subtly feminine, incredibly wearable designs.
The Berroco team (Emily, Alison, Ashley and I) are on the road this week, presenting the Fall 2015 collection at The National Needlearts Association trade show in Columbus, Ohio. The show is where we get to share our new yarns and designs with yarn shops from all over.
I’ve worked at Berroco for nearly two years, but I only just recently learned how our color cards are made. Twice a year, we fire up a special machine in the warehouse that produces cards for all of our new yarns and old yarns with new shades. Read more
