Through The Loops Giveaway Winner

Wow! I’m so glad you were all as excited about the beautiful Astor Place Mitts designed by Kirsten Kapur as I was. This giveaway of a the PDF and the yarn to knit it, 2 skeins of Berroco Artisan had a fabulous response, but we can only have one winner.

To select our winner, we used a random number generator, and the winning comment is:

Sargasso. Sargasso….it must be Sargasso. This is the exact color of my Hydrangea bush as some of the flowers are just blooming and a few are starting to fade. My absolute favorite shade of dusty purple. I would love to see the mitts in Sargasso! Thank you 🙂

Congratulations Sherry and thank you to everyone who entered! Sherry, please email Amy Palmer, our media director, to claim your prize (apalmer at berroco.com).

I hope you all took a few moments to check out the Through The Loops 10 Years collection

This a fun project—a stunning collection released in a serial fashion, with two patterns releasing each week for a month. Kirsten’s designs combine lush colors with engaging motifs and textures. Only seven of the ten patterns have been released to date but so far this collection is pure fun. Great colors and quick pick-me-up projects you can cast on and finish by the time the next pattern is released as well as gorgeous shawls with bright cheerful colorways. I love shawl knitting this time of year as a take along project that I can work through over the spring and summer seasons (so that I finish just in time for chilly weather in early fall).
