I love knitting in the round, so socks are a great project. Socks are also a portable knitting project (I knit in the car….not while driving!), plus a nice way to use up bits and bobs of yarn.
I love sock knitting, but wish I had more time for it.
I love knitting socks, and love discovering new patterns.
Knitting socks is my favorite thing to knit.It is also my husband,s favorite thing for ME to knit. No knots to irritate his toes like store bought ones
I love making socks that fit my small feet.
I took a class to make socks last year and I love knitting socks. Sock knitting is so portable. There is something special about wearing hand knit socks.
I love knitting socks. I love using the Berroco Vintage yarn, it knits up quick and is so soft. I brings socks when I go to appointments because it’s a great portable project.
Love making socks!! One skein is enough to make a pair for myself and a pair for my baby girl. Matching mommy/daughter socks gives us both happy feet!!!
I love knitting socks! They are a small project on small needles that fit in my not-so-small lap! I love the irregular color changes. And to top it off, my feet are warm in the winter when I wear my hand-knit socks with my Birks! I would love this book…..thanks
I love knitting socks-does take long & my toes are finally warm!
love making socks, easy portable projiects
I really enjoy making socks for me, but I’m slow-going. As an avid crocheted for many years, that is the reason I wanted to learn to knit!
I have one plain pair of socks under my belt, it is time to try something a little more challenging.
I am new to socks and am drooling over the designs showcased! I have a total sock addiction and am teaching myself to knit just to feed my obsession!
I haven’t yet mastered knitting socks, but would love a book of beautiful patterns to get me started!!!
My mother and sisters love receiving hand-knit socks for Christmas!
Wearing handknit socks, especially 100% wool, makes me feel pampered. They are fun to knit for many reasons – and are portable and come off the needles completely finished.
Would love to have this book since I’m hooked on knitting socks.
Love knitting socks. They just seem to be so quick. maybe because half way through a project you’ve already won a little victory with a finished sock.
I use sock patterns for socks AND fingerless gloves, so I’m always needing more.
I’m a sock nut!! I love to wear hand-knit socks as much as I love to knit them!! Socks are less of a commitment than a sweater, give you more bang for your yarn buck, and you get to try out new stitches and designs on a smaller landscape. AND, did I mention all the luscious fingering weight yarns on the market AND all the to-dye-for (pardon the pun!) colors?? What’s not to love about knitting socks??!!
What a fun looking book.
The first time I saw all those tiny needles I was sure I would never be able to knit socks. What a feeling of accomplishment when I finally tried it and could actually make socks! I have been totally addicted ever since. I can try out new things on a small project for quick gratification.
love to knit socks because they are a portable project and are relatively quick to knit
when I travel I buy sock yarn (as local to area as possible) so that I can make “souvenir socks” of my trip.

I love knitting socks because they are quick little projects and I can experiment with lots of different stitches. Plus, I LOVE wearing hand-knit socks.
I have a whole drawer of hand knit socks. They are my favorite thing to knit because the yarn can do all the work or you can work techniques that you find intimidating, and if you mess up, no one will really care cuz it’s on your feet!
This book looks great. I just finished my first sock class and have one sock done. This would get me motivated to finish the second one. Good luck everyone.
Socks are such a great knitting project–their portability is second to none for me. What a neat book!
Have always wanted to knit socks. I now have grandchildren to make them for. I’m always up for trying something new.
I do enjoy sock knitting. They are easy to transport and relatively quick to knit. There’s also a pretty good chance of fitting correctly, although I have knit a few that were too small and too big.
Socks are my go-to project for commuter knitting. As a mass transit rider from way back, there really is truth in the button “I knit so I do not kill people” and socks are the perfect antidote to the interesting people who ride the bus some days – and I end up with something really fun after a month of commuting!
I’ve been wanting to learn to knit socks! They are beautiful & being able to tweak a pattern to fit my slightly bigger feet is a great idea & stress reliever.
I’ve just learned how to knit socks and it just could be my new addiction. I’m not sure if it’s the feel of the yarn or that they are comfy, but I really do love it!
My friend got me hooked on sock knitting and I love it! I can’t stop looking for patterns and yarn. Never a dull day when there’s a heel turn coming up 😀

I make socks for myself and my mom. I always have a pair of socks on the needles as they’re a nice travel project. I’m planning a pair of tights, if I can just find the right pattern.
Socks are so fun to knit and portable!
New socks are a necessity – this book looks like a winner!

Sock knitting has become my favorite thing – there are so many patterns and yarns to explore, it’s a portable project, and everyone loves getting hand knit socks!
I love knitting socks. They can be simple or challenging.
They are so easy to make and fun to give as gifts!
