On Location: Fall/Winter 2013 Photo Shoot

I’m writing today from the beautiful village of Wickford, located on Rhode Island’s Narragansett Bay. Photo shoots are so much fun!

I’ve been sharing pictures from our Fall/Winter 2013 photo shoot all week, but I thought I’d talk a little more about the cool locations we’ve visited.

deCordova Sculpture Park & Museum – Lincoln, MA

We spent our first two days at the deCordova – a contemporary sculpture park & museum with 60 sculptures spread over 30 acres. This is definitely one of the more unusual locations we’ve used for a photo shoot and I think it’s going to look really interesting.

Pawtucket, RI

We were in more familiar territory, yesterday, shooting outside of our photographer’s studio in Pawtucket. We had two models instead of one (for our special His & Her booklet) but the day actually flew by because Chris and Norah have used this area before – they know all the good spots!

Wickford, RI

We’re spending the rest of the shoot here in Wickford, where our design assistant, Martha, lives. She was nice enough to open her home to our large and crazy crew. It’s a great location because of the different scenery. We’re down the road from a beach and shops and across the street from a shipyard. Plus, there’s the added bonus that we get to play with Martha’s adorable dogs, Emma and Rosie!
