Fall 2012 Favorite Knits

While we’re proud of all our new patterns, it’s always fun to see which knits are the favorites among our fans.  That’s part of the reason we love having a Berroco trunk show at the historic Slater Mill in Pawtucket, RI.  It’s a rare opportunity for the local knitting community to try on samples and chat with our design team – and it’s a lot of fun!

Slater Mill is primarily a museum dedicated to all things relating to America’s Industrial Revolution.  It still serves as an important cultural center – offering regular lectures, exhibits and a meeting space for various fiber arts groups.  Berroco has been lucky enough to use the mill as a backdrop for several of our pattern booklet photo shoots.  We’re excited every time we get to visit and share our latest designs with the public.

This year’s trunk show had a particularly good turnout, perhaps because it coincided with the monthly meeting of the Hook & Needle Guild.  Despite the crowd, everyone had a chance to look through the samples and try on their favorites.  Some of the most popular sweaters seemed to be Connate, Tanta and Arrowroot.

FALL 2012 Berroco Trunk Show

We can’t send Norah & Amanda to all of our retailers but we do send our trunk show out to as many shops as we can.  Our Fall 2012 collection will be making the rounds through the end of the year.  So make sure you check with your local store to see if a trunk show is coming to your area and let us know which knits are your favorites!
