If you’ve been to our Facebook page lately, you might have guessed that we like Halloween. I had a feeling some of you might also like Halloween and might have some fun patterns to share. But I had no idea how spooky or creative your designs would be.
You’ve used Berroco yarns to make creepy hats, adorable decorations and really cool costumes. Below are a few more designs we wanted you to see. There may not be time to make one this year, but they’ll definitely get you in the Halloween spirit!

You don’t have to know who Cthulhu is – or how to pronounce his name – to know that this is a very cool design. Jennifer Lacey knit this unusual hat for a customer using our Vintage yarn. Click here to learn more about the mythical monster than inspired her project.

Heading to Grandma’s house this Halloween? Tagil Perlmutter knit the perfect Little Red Riding Hood cape using Berroco Lustra. Of course, the design is so cute, your little one could wear it any time of the year. Even better, the pattern is available for free on Ravelry!

We had to include this fabulous crown for all of you crocheters. Stacy Vaka designed the miniature hat with Berroco Comfort DK. It’s made to be small, but Vaka says that one size fits all thanks to the added straps. The pattern is available for download on Ravelry.

It doesn’t get much sweeter than Melody Rogers’ set of butterfly wings. She used Berroco Sundae (now discontinued) but Amanda and Norah suggest knitting with three strands of Vintage to get the right gauge. You can try using more than one shade to create a similar heathered effect. The pattern gives directions for 0-12 months and it’s available for download on Ravelry.
I hope you enjoy these holiday patterns as much we do. With Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner, we’d love to see some more! Feel free to share your designs on our Facebook page or email them directly to me: apalumbo@berroco.com.
Congrats to our vintage button winners: Diana Bell & Pat Jacobs!!!
