Last week Amy Palmer and I traveled to Vermont to photograph the Berroco Portfolio Volume 3 collection, the first day of shooting for the Berroco Spring 2017 collection. The Portfolio series is a collaboration with talented designers whose work inspires and it is a challenge to create a photo shoot that equals the caliber of the designs. The location, the Amare Guest house, is a large rambling Victorian mansion, lovingly restored by Krystina and her husband Doug in the village of Chester, Vermont. This day, this team of incredibly talented and hardworking women, and this beautiful house exceeded all my hopes and aspirations. Here is a small peek behind the scenes
In September we will have 4 more days of photography on location. Follow the Berroco Design Instagram for more behind the scenes previews of the collection.
(Thanks to Gale Zucker and Krystina Lankone and the Amare Guesthouse for letting me nick photos from Instagram feeds for this post.)
Hello,
I would like to know if you might have an opening for a Sample crocheter? I have been crocheting since 1983. I am an intermediate crocheter. I am interested in stitches, I am always looking to try new ones. I am a producer of items of my own designs but I do read patterns as well.
Hi Novella! I’ll pass your information along to Alison, who coordinates all of our sample knitters and crocheters. Thanks for you interest!
