It’s hard to believe we’re already closing in on the final day of photography for our Fall/Winter ’14 season. It seems like just the other day, Norah and Emily were discussing themes, picking locations and anxiously awaiting the arrival of finished pieces. Well to be honest, those last two things were still occurring just a few days ago. But despite a major time crunch, everything came together as usual.
The past couple of days have been a blur of driving (to various locations in and around Rhode Island), styling and standing out in the cold – man, has it been cold! Our models, as well as our photographer, Chris, and his assistants, Cori and Zach, deserve a lot of credit. While the rest of us have been bundled up, they’ve dealt with more than their fair share of windburn and wet feet – all in the name of getting a great photo.
Of course, this shoot is extra special because it’s Norah’s last and Amy’s (our new designer director) first with Berroco. In addition to bringing a warm wool blanket (which saved a few model fingers and toes from frostbite), Amy offers a fresh creative perspective that has blended really well Norah and Emily’s vision.
I can’t show you anything too detailed right now, but I promise you’re going to love our Fall/Winter ’14 collection. I’m actually stressed out about how many of these designs I’ve added to my “must knit” list. There’s just never enough time for knitting!
Here are a few teasers and some random behind the scenes pictures from our week!
Fall / Winter ’15 already? Can’t wait to see it!
Whoops, I meant ’14! Can you tell it’s been a long few days?
The one next to the greenhouse looks fabulous! Can’t wait to see the collection!
Everything is very open with a really clear explanation of the challenges.
It was truly informative. Your website is very useful.
Many thanks for sharing!
Good day! I simply want to give a huge thumbs up for the good
data
you might have right here on this post. I will probably be coming back to your weblog for extra soon.
You ought to take part in a contest for one of the greatest
websites on the net. I am going to highly recommend this site!
Spot on with this write-up, I truly believe that this site needs
a great deal more attention. I’ll probably be back again to see more, thanks for the advice!
