What to Knit: Cambria

The first thing I noticed about Cambria was her height. Of course, it didn’t help that she was standing next to Norah! Cambria had warned us about her 6 ft frame before agreeing to be our What to Knit model, but we were up to the challenge and confident that a number of our new patterns would look great on her.

In addition to being tall, Cambria is beautiful and talented. She’s an aspiring knitwear designer who works and teaches at Bella Yarns in  Rhode Island. So she came to us with a pretty good idea of what she likes in a handknit sweater. But I think she was pleasantly surprised by a couple of the designs!

Cambria tried on LeylandCarcrossMorindaPerineGibson & Hume – all patterns from our Fall/Winter ’13 collection. See which style she liked best…

  1. Is there a recommended size range? When I sent in a pic earlier this spring, there was a suggested range of 12-14. (I’ve been losing weight, so I’m not that size any more.)
