New fall yarn Renew ticks all the boxes:
-Beautiful drape with a touch of cashmere.
-Sophisticated color palette.
-Made with recycled fibers along with a sustainably produced viscose making it a yarn you can feel good about using and wearing.
My favorite piece from the Renew collection is Rhian, a simple-to-make slipover vest designed by Amy Christoffers. This slipover is a mixture of a vest and a dickie, a practical accessory that adds warmth with a layer minus all the bulk. The i-cord side ties on Rhian add such a cute detail and allows for individual preference in how snug or loose you want to wear it.
We had fun styling Rhian three ways:

The first was with a plain black pant and shirt. This outfit is an everyday look and the slipover adds an extra layer of interest and playfulness to it.

Next, we paired it with a romantic floral dress. This look allows the dress to shine underneath while adding that extra level of warmth. We also thought it would be great with a dress that has a more dramatic sleeve, too!

Lastly, I tucked it under a denim jacket for a faux sweater look. This is where the slipover shines. You get all the comfort and function of a sweater without all the bulk under the sleeves of the jacket!
Although I almost always wear dresses, I have to say the pants was my favorite of the three. Rhian is such a versatile piece I can’t wait to try it on with other things in my closet!
Slipovers are sure having a moment right now and I am all for it. How would you style Rhian?
