We’ve had a year unlike any other but what has remained true for our team is how we’ve been able to create and share some beautiful designs with you this year. From our Spring/Summer collection to our latest Lana’s release, we’ve been channeling our energies into some really beautiful pieces.
Our team released 132(!) new patterns this year! Can you even believe it? I sure can. I had the privilege of watching a team come together (mostly remotely) and continue to churn out design after design. It was hectic but also it provided us some “normalcy” in the wild chaotic nature of 2020.
Spring/Summer ’20 Collection

I’m kicking it off my favorites of 2020 with Wenham, an Ultra Wool Fine color work yoke sweater. I made one at the beginning of the year and it is still one of my favorite sweaters to reach for. It’s designed by Amy Christoffers, it features a beautiful neck line and a relaxed fit. An added bonus it’s Machine Washable!

I really love this Keeler cardigan – so much so that I ended up acquiring the sample made here and have worn it at least once every week since! It’s a wonderful sweater made with Ultra Wool Chunky, and pairs well with comfy clothes as well as dresses. I highly recommend!

Unadilla was the spring pattern that made me reach for my crochet hooks! While I didn’t get make this one one, I still can’t help thinking about it. I almost made it for the Spring Make along but then I decided to make Beachrock. I am only a little regretful, I get to live vicariously through Alison who did make one!

It’s made with our spring yarn, Farro, a cotton blend. It’s a great yarn for crochet and I hope to get one done in the new year.

Is it a surprise all I picked were the cardigans from Spring? Shout out to the Spring Cardi House Party! But Rhys, designed by Alison Green, in Cambria is truly a lovely cardigan with a very feminine lace detail bordering the shoulders. I love its cropped style and think this is a cardigan that would go well with so many outfits!
Fall/ Winter 2020 Collection

I loved Gracefield the moment I laid eyes on it. I love this piece designed for its relaxed fix and the all over pattern on the body. It’s made out of one of our newest yarns, Mochi. And as predicted it has become a fast fan favorite! It is an aran weight and knits up like a dream. It’s light and warm and as you can see above has beautiful stitch definition. How I haven’t made anything with this yarn yet is anyone’s guess?

This yoke… hi. You’re gorgeous! Of course I’m talking about our beautiful Canton sweater in our Tiramisu yarn. I would have never combined these colorways and I love that they were – it’s such a simple and beautiful way to play with self striping yarn.

Wardrobe staple, looks great on everyone… Oh Novi! You’re sorta a sleeper hit! It’s slowly making itself the “Most Knit” sweater from 2020 from our makers. It’s a 2 x 2 rib knit in Berroco Arno and one of the most popular patterns sold from our Fall collection and it’s obvious why. This sweater is a flattering knit and simple to make. Alison also made one and I’m kinda jelly! I want one, too.

Lastly, I must mention Spencer! A classic cardigan using Sesame and Aerial held together. This design is a true classic cardigan and works well with other yarns we carry. One of our sales reps, Andra even made this in Mochi! It’s versatile and flattering/wearable. So good!
And to think I haven’t even mentioned our accessories and any of the FREE patterns we designed. Perhaps that’s a whole other post 😉
