The Berroco Cardi House Party is ON! What are you going to make?
I am leaning toward Laurel Cardigan from Knitty. I originally designed this for Berroco Tuscan Tweed and in a fit of generosity gave mine to my dear friend (and Berroco co-worker) Donna Yacino and I’ve been anxious to make another ever since.

I think Berroco Remix would be perfect yarn to use for this pattern. Have you ever knit with Remix? It’s a really special yarn made with 100% recycled fiber (30% Nylon, 27% Cotton, 24% Acrylic, 10% Silk, 9% Linen). It gives knits a bit of bounce like a woolenspun merino and the fabric feels soft like a favorite sweatshirt. I have a bag of the shade 3949 “Nightfall” a classic Navy with pale grey flecks that will go with anything and everything.

This cardigan hits the sweet spot for me of being simple and soothing enough to enjoy as my ‘after dinner knitting’ but those cables keep things just interesting enough.

We have some big fun planned for this KAL/CAL with prizes and lots of opportunities for us to all gather and make together while we’re apart. There are so many ways to connect with us. You can:
Go to our Facebook Group add yourself here, we’re over 1k strong!
Tag your projects on Instagram, #berrococardiparty (hint there will be prizes)
Introduce yourself over in the Ravelry Berroco Lovers Group and tag your WIPs with “berrococardiparty” so we can see them!
What are you planning to make? Let us know in the comments!
Happy making!

I am making Lamoille in Cotolana, color 3510 Maple. I am looking forward to seeing everyone’s creations!
Excellent! Are you loving the Cotolana as much as I do? Such a lovely yarn to knit with.
