Yarn Spotlight: Arno

One of the newest yarns in our collection is Arno™ a dk weight cotton wool blend. The yarn produces a beautiful stitch definition with a light hand and has become a quick favorite amongst the design team! Arno was also featured in this week’s Knit Bits with the Creek Sweater, a simple textured pullover.

If you haven’t checked out our Arno Collection, run don’t walk to the link to see them 😉 Our Arno collection features 6 designs that explore the ways you can use this yarn.

Soriada is a pullover that features an easy garter stitch ribbing that runs up the sides and into the raglan shaping lines.

Emmi is a cozy cardigan featuring a all over lace repeat pattern, with front v-neck shaping and blousy stockinette stitch sleeves.

Teresita is a elegant poncho knit from the neck down. It has a beautiful “tied” effect in the front and a perfect piece to throw over any outfit.

Claudette is a lovely cabled collection – a tam and matching gloves. We really love how Arno pops with those cables and you can see how great the stitch definition is.

Terrell is a lovely scarf with a clever cable motif with fringe on the edge because who doesn’t love fringe!

Lastly is our Beatriz shawl made with ever popular brioche stitch. Knitted from the bottom point and building up to form a cozy small wrap.

Of Course we also love Weir which is our free KnitBits pattern. A simple V-neck that’s made to flatter many body types. We especially love our friend, Amy’s Weir!

Next time you’re searching for a DK weight yarn why not try Arno. We think you’ll love it!
