Thanks again to everyone who participated in our Berroco Bingo game over the summer! We’re so happy that so many yarn lovers played along with us over the summer, stopping into their local yarn stores to play Bingo. I know people have been anxiously awaiting the announcement of the winners, so here they are!
Ellen from Ohio plans to knit Yew from Booklet 380 Berroco Tuscan Tweed in the color 9022 Cornflower. I’m hoping she’ll be joining us for our Tuscan Tweed KAL starting in just a couple of weeks—we’ll have more information on that soon, but Amy Christoffers gave a little sneak peak to it in this blog post.
Lisa chose Berroco Mykonos, which is a great choice for a knitter in North Carolina. She picked the gorgeous Zeus colorway, number 8556, and is going to work it in to the Gwendoline pattern from Booklet 359 Wardrobe.
Pat is practically our neighbor in Massachusetts, and she chose to knit Coquina from our Berroco Folio Color Collection in Berroco Folio Color shade 4593 Westbook.
If you live in Virginia and see a Jura sweater pattern pop up in a gorgeous new shade of Berroco Ultra Alpaca (Blue Spruce Mix), you might be seeing Mindy’s husband walking around in the sweater she knit him.
Sydnie in California is going to knit herself a Teeter Totter Shawl from Portfolio Volume 2 in five colors of Berroco Ultra Alpaca Fine: Caribbean Mix (12186), Oceanic Mix (1285), Tiger Eye Mix (1292), Berry Pie Mix (12171), and Pink Berry Mix (12176). I think this combination is going to make for a killer shawl!
Debbie plans to knit herself an Aini Scarf to help stay warm in the Missouri winters. She chose the original colors of Berroco Gingko shown in Booklet 376.
Another knitter chose a project from Booklet 376 Berroco Ginkgo: Suzanne in Michigan plans to knit Jessamyn in Berroco Ginkgo color 9638 Sapphire.
Jenni from Mississippi plans to knit Morrenci from Booklet 373 Summer Days, but plans to make it just a little bit warmer by switching to Berroco Cotolana in color 3506 Sycamore.
Erin in Washington is going to be snuggling into her Forest Floor ruana, knit in Berroco Gusto color 1942 Jade.
Last but most certainly not least, Myriam in Canada is still deciding which yarn she’s going to use—which is completely understandable!
We’ll be playing Berroco Bingo again next year, so you’ll have another chance to win great Berroco yarn and prizes!
Congratulations to all winners! Beautiful and inspiring project choices!!!
While not everyone can win – and I can assume that the “rest of us” who participated and didn’t win are justifiably a little sad – I for my part will say that the bingo was fun enough to make it a great “Berroco Summer”.
Thank you for organizing this!
Thanks for telling us about the winners- sad I’m not one but I am happy to see one Canadian!
Congrats to all the winners! The winners of the Ginkgo are going to love it! IT is so soft
hi, is this open to Canadian residents?
Hi! Berroco Bingo is open to anyone aged 18 and older, anywhere in the world.
