We’re getting closer and closer to wrapping up the Greenwood Shawl Knit-along, so I thought today I’d share a demonstration on how to work the picot bind-off method used in this pattern. Read on for more!
Like the picot cast-on method we started with, a picot bind off adds a decorative edge to this shawl and mimics the bobble rows. Plus, it’s really easy to work! Here’s a video demonstrating how to knit the picot bind off for Greenwood.
How close are you to finishing your Greenwood shawl?
Done! Thank you for organizing this great KAL.
It’s definitely one of those addictive patterns that you want to knit more than once. But for now I’m off unto the next “Portfolio 2” projects … the Teeter Totter Shawl and the Arcadia Poncho are next on my list.
