Emily Explains: How To Wear Laodi

When designing each season there is always a rush of designing that happens before the photoshoot. It is both exhilarating and exhausting. Last season, we were so lucky to have Martha Wissing, a talented designer who handled our pattern support questions at the time, knock out a few accessories. Laodi, featured in booklet #348, is a gorgeous, lace scarf knit in Cosma that is very long. In the photo shoot, Laodi is shown whimsically wrapped around the body.

But that’s not the only way to wear it! It is so long you can wear it as a shawl, perfect for a cool summer night or wrapped up many times as a scarf on a chilly fall day. Check out these pictures of Alison modeling Laodi a few different ways.

My favorite way to wear it is draped over my shoulders as if it were a shawl. How would you wear Laodi ?

Happy Making!
