Here in the Berroco Design Studio we’re super excited to be rolling out the Fall 2014 collection and we are already busy planning great new things for 2015. It is so easy to get caught up in looking forward that sometimes, we forget to stop and savor the season. It’s June! Summer is here and it’s time to take a beat. I don’t know if it’s just the lingering feeling from childhood and school getting out for the summer, but June is my favorite month in New England. The summer stretches out in front of you and is still full of possibilities. Everything is so green…
In the spirit of the season, I’ve collected some summer knitting projects from the Berroco pattern archives for inspiration – bright grass and lime greens to keep you feeling refreshed as the days get warmer.
The patterns, from the top: Seepwillow, Furthermore, Campania, Panamint, Valdai, Paloverde and Napuka
This group includes lace, a little texture and a few light, airy projects that have easily memorized patterns for taking on the road. I love the idea of knitting something now that will keep the feeling of summer with me whenever I wear the project in the months and years to come.
What colors are you knitting with this summer? Is there a color that represents summer for you?
