Independent Patterns, July Edition

It’s time for another roundup of independently designed patterns using Berroco yarns… This time, we’ll be looking at interesting new garments, as well as a couple of cute scarves.

First up is the Barcelona Tunic by Faina Goberstein. Worked in Ultra Alpaca, this sleeveless tunic is knit in the round using a variety of interesting textured stitches, and comes in a whopping 17 different sizes!

Next, we have the Bailey Island Cardigan, a decidedly offbeat asymmetrical men’s cardigan designed by Elizabeth Green Musselman. Knit in Remix, this cardigan features a little pop of contrasting color around the edges, highlighting the zipper’s unusual slant.

In the scarf category, we have the Sea Smoke Scarf from Linda at Knitwise Design. Knit in soft, sparkling Flicker, the main portion of the scarf is worked in simple ribbing, with a unique lace pattern adorning each end.

If you’re looking for a summer scarf, check out Mnara designed by Talitha Kuomi. Worked in the round, this unique accessory offers an easy-to-knit spiral texture, which shows off the distinctive texture of Bonsai perfectly.

We’re always delighted when independent designers use our yarn, and we can’t wait to see what they’ll do next!
