I was wondering whether this lighthearted (ok – silly) cartoon technique would be an effective way of presenting a debate. What do you think of of this redux of the discussion Cirilia and I had about hat knitting awhile back? (I know folks are passionate about their preference on the debated subject).
What might we debate next?

LOL. You know “cute” isn’t my thing. But this is a scream. Any way to speed up the audio?
I put in a few pauses for effect. That may have been a mistake 🙂
I just have one thing to say to, “I don’t like working with double pointed needles”. Magic loop. It took away the one thing I didn’t love about knitting in the round.
Thx for the cartoon – it’s a stitch!
I love the cats – there is something just a little melancholy about them that takes the edge off the cuteness.
I love xtranormal animation, though my favorite is still this one:

But, this is a pretty geeky household.
i love this little annimation. sweet idea.
I love the cartoon! I wish I could transcribe our latest board of directors’ fight into a cartoon like this – it’d take all the ugly-grownup heat out of it. Bears are much more civil. 🙂
Well…the topic/conversation itself was interesting. But the figures and their voices are a bit wooden and freaky, no?
Yes, absolutely! For me, that’s what makes these cartoons so hysterical.
These are pretty cute characters. The relatively passionless voices make you really think about what is being said. Is it really worth debating at all? Perhaps not. Anyway, I like them–they’re clever. Perhaps a debate on raglan vs. set-in sleeves (I don’t like seaming), or top down/bottom up socks or garments could be created. After all, there are endless topics to debate in knitting.
It’s excellent. Love the androidian voices next to the bows on the ears. Seriously though, DPNs? Isn’t that a bit like using candles instead of electricity? (Cue next debate.)
Norah,
Off topic, but I am desperately trying to find a copy of the pattern for your “Flow” tank top (from Vol. 2) made out of Berrocco Seduce. I have the yarn and alas, was told that the booklet is no longer available. Help!?
