What is the Pantone Color of the Year? From the Pantone website: “a color snapshot of what we see taking place in our global culture that serves as an expression of a mood and an attitude”. Pantone draws on information collected all over the world, looking at runways and street style, advertising trends, you name it! The Color of the Year gets a lot of attention, but Pantone presents a palette of colors that they predict will be the drivers by season—and we aim to cover those colors in our pattern collections.
This year’s Color of the Year is Greenery, and our free Vine Shawl pattern, knit in Berroco Ultra® Alpaca Fine color 1275 Pea Soup Mix, is a perfect fit for this flattering color.

Could the flame and the yarrow pink be attributed to the wrong garments? Looks like the shawl is pink and the top is orange?
Good catch! That’s what happens when I edit without enough coffee in my system. Fixing it now!
