Berroco Loves Knitty

The Berroco design team stays pretty busy designing the collections that Berroco produces each season—we estimate that this department produces over 200 knitting and crochet patterns each year—but we also love to design for editorial, too. Working with a publication like Knitty gives us designers a chance to cut loose from what Berroco wants and design what we want.

Looking for a Pullover? Helga  (above in the header)) was designed for Blackstone Tweed, which has been discontinued but you can substitute the Tuscan Tweed. Smithfield from the Winter 2014 is another Blackstone Tweed pullover. This pullover has been in heavy rotation for me since it came off the needles and I’m starting to think I’ll need to knit a second one, maybe next time in Ultra Alpaca or Vintage.
