It definitely took me the longest to pick the right outfit for this Style Your Knits video, but that’s because I had so many dresses I wanted to try it on with!
Gladys is a lightweight, cropped wrap sweater knit in Berroco Mixer. Because of the different fibers and how the yarn is constructed, Mixer creates a devoré fabric with a beautiful sheen.
I ended up pairing our sample (a brown/maroon color, depending on the light and which member of the design team you ask) with a full-length strapless dress that I often wear in the summer. With the added shoulder coverage, I could easily add this outfit to my late-spring/early fall wardrobe rotation. Plus, the tie hit right at my waist, creating more of a visual boundary between the dress’s solid top and floral print skirt.
It took a while, but I was really pleased with my final look. Watch our video to see how the rest of the design team styled this knit!
How would you wear Gladys?
Love the choices. Keep the videos coming . They are very inspiring!
Thanks, Martha!
