Photography Highlights

Our Spring 2012 photo shoots were a success! We kept our locations close to the ocean in southern Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and the weather graciously cooperated with us.

I snapped a few in-progress pictures… No peeking at the sweaters though! I blurred them out, since it’s still too early to show them.

Here we are in an old stone ruin by the beach – Norah (in the lower right corner) is keeping a close eye on the sweater, while our wonderful stylist Mary Jane Mucklestone (to the left of Norah) is busy providing a human-powered breeze for our model in the doorway.

Now we’ve moved further inland. Our model is cheerfully standing in a particularly muddy and sludgy patch of grass. Norah has been excitedly identifying a number of different shore birds.

On our third day of shooting, we’ve returned to the beach. Mary Jane (in the left corner) is carefully monitoring our model’s outfit. After seeing many signs warning us about ticks in the area, we are all avoiding wandering off the trails.

Back on the sand, we watch as another model tries out some poses. We’ve been admiring how calm the water looks, and jokingly wondering why we didn’t rent a boat for the day…

We had a fun time and got some great photographs. Things are looking good for 2012!

    1. I did not see any dead birds, but there were lots of dead crabs on the beach!
And a really large and very alive spider (which I found pretty alarming, though no one else did)…

    1. The wonderful photographer’s great skill and talent are so obvious, I thought it seemed redundant to mention…
