Welcome back Amanda!

I had to go a few dicey, crazed weeks without a trusty designer to be boss of, but the waiting is over. Ok, she arrived last week, so the waiting was over last Monday, but this is the first time I’ve had a chance to slow down enough to blog… and I am exaggerating a bit ’cause  really, Cirilia left me in good shape.

As I see Amanda

This is the view I have of Amanda from my desk.  One of us is too tall, or  one of us is too short!

I tortured her last week insisting she download almost every program in my repertoire – Evernote,  Bento, Easy draw, and who could forget – Circus Pony Notebook, lovable for its name alone , not to mention the fantastic way it handles outlines.  After that initiation Amanda got down to the constant drone of  tasks like writing Knitbits, dreaming up descriptions for the 70+ new patterns for fall and , oh, designing sweaters. Her title is “designer” after all.

Here is a glimpse of of Amanda’s swatch for an upcoming free pattern – but what will the sweater look like?  You’ll have to check in with Knitbits over the next few months to catch its debut.

  1. This Amanda seems wonderful. I can’t wait for all her delightful patterns and such. I am so excited she has joined the Berroco team.

  2. Hi!
I just need to thank you for sharing such amazing patterns for free! I’ve crochet your buttercream cake – and it turned out lovely, if you ask me. 😉

Please visit my blog, and have a look at it. It is written in swedish, but there is a lot of pictures. 🙂

  3. Welcome Amanda! I wish nothing but good things to Cirilia – she’ll be missed (too bad the three of you couldn’t design together!).

    And I’m with Mary-Heather – it’s a shelving issue.
