Congratulations to Joyce from MO, the winner of the Soak gift bag and blocking wires!
The gift fairy is working in overdrive this month. Or I should say, Cirilia’s work with our generous partners is in overdrive this month? Look for a give-away in our weekly newsletter, Knitbits, this Friday (May 22). If you don’t already subscribe, you can find a link to the survey /entry form on our home page. Answer our survey and enter to win a gorgeous Tom Bihn bag filled with Berroco Peruvia Quick. (Enough to make Nimbus in any of the sizes written).
This is the cork version of the bag designed by Knitty readers. It’s phenomenally cool, with inside pockets and a stuff sack included. We’ll be giving away 4 of them!
Coming soon – answers to your blocking questions….
how fun! Subscribers to the newsletter don’t need to enter, right?
Wow, this is already on my to make list. I can’t wait.
That bag is gorgeous (love the sweater too, saw it on Ravelry).
ACK! I cannot find the survey link. 🙁 SAD SAD SAD GIRL!!
I am an enthusiastic patron of both Knit Bits and Berroco yarns. I am fortunate to be a local customer of the Yarn Store in Uxbridge and appreciate their selection and knowledge of your yarns. Sharing my love of knitting is a priority to me. I am a middle school teacher in the Bellingham school system and have established Generation Knit for students at my school and organized a charity knitting program for the staff that ran throughout the 2007-2008 school year. Our second annual WWKIP day is scheduled for June at the Bellingham Common and all needleworkers are invited.
I appreciate the updated elegance of your projects and booklets, but feel there is a need to reach out to beginning knitters with simple elegant projects that will move them forward, slowly, to appreciating the quality of your yarns. I enjoy designing these types of projects and combining textures in simple projects to raise their level of sophistication and drama.
My background includes styling, teaching craft classes and demonstrations.
I am a teacher and have time available in the summer to pursue these types of projects and would be happy to meet with a Berroco representative to discuss collaboration on possible projects. Thank you for your consideration and keep those Knit Bits coming! Paula-Marie Hogge
