Yesterday Berroco released a new free pattern, Mira, a color work hat designed in Berroco Abode by Amy Christoffers, our fabulous design director. Mira is a beautiful hat that I was so excited to swatch for because knitting with Abode is simply scrumptious. It is a 100% merino wool, loosely spun, single ply yarn that goes from thick to thin. The colors are painted on the white wool yarn so when knitted, the color work looks a bit like a water color painting. Read more
