What a week! We flew to Long Beach last Thursday morning for The National Needlearts Association’s spring trade show and just got back to the office yesterday. It was amazing how much we were able to fit into a long weekend!
January is a crazy time for the Berroco Design Team. From holidays to trade shows to the unveiling of our new yarns and designs for spring, there isn’t much downtime. It’s hectic, but it’s also a lot of fun.
Berroco yarn is manufactured in mills all over the world, but we do most of our buying twice a year at a huge trade show in Florence, Italy. That’s where our beautiful Berroco Cirrus comes from. There’s an interesting story about this fine Italian yarn, and the family that makes it, in tomorrow’s KnitBits.
It’s hard to believe that in just a few weeks Norah, Amanda and I will be on our way to sunny Long Beach, California. We won’t be wasting any time on the ocean, though. We’ll be at The National Needlearts Association’s annual winter trade show.
