What I’m about to say may shock you. Before I started here at Berroco, I didn’t know much about Norah. Sure, I had heard her name and even queued a few of her designs on Ravelry, but I was mostly a crocheter and I didn’t pay much attention to those kinds of things. Looking back now, I’m grateful for my knitting industry ignorance. I would have been way too nervous starting a new job with “THE NORAH GAUGHAN” as my boss!
It’s hard to believe that in just a few weeks Norah, Amanda and I will be on our way to sunny Long Beach, California. We won’t be wasting any time on the ocean, though. We’ll be at The National Needlearts Association’s annual winter trade show.

For five weeks, Berroco was lucky enough to work with John Yonda, David Meaden & Richard Earley. None of these men had been to a yarn warehouse before, but they mastered many of the tasks required to package and ship our products to all of our retail stores.
Kathie, one of Berroco’s craftiest employees, was decorating her Christmas tree recently and discovered that our Francis scarf pattern (worked in Berroco Lacey, our elegant new ruffle yarn) can do double-duty as a garland! Read more
The candy section at the grocery store has exploded to twice its size. There are styrofoam headstones lining the sidewalks of the houses across my street. I can’t stop eating candy corn. It’s pretty clear that Halloween is right around the corner. Read more
