As soon as I cast off my last Hanne mitten, I wanted to make the pattern into hat. Actually, I want to turn it into multiple hats, because I can’t stop thinking of different variations and colorways that I want to experiment with.

Last month Martha Wissing released a great pattern, the Rosalie Poncho.
Martha’s poncho was written for Berroco Ultra Alpaca or Modern Cotton, it is a versatile garment that is adaptable to your climate. The lace boarder detail adds knitterly interest and shows Martha’s great talent for subtly feminine, incredibly wearable designs.
The Berroco team (Emily, Alison, Ashley and I) are on the road this week, presenting the Fall 2015 collection at The National Needlearts Association trade show in Columbus, Ohio. The show is where we get to share our new yarns and designs with yarn shops from all over.
