I’ve been at it again – browsing Ravelry and finding lots of projects designed with Berroco yarns! It’s time for another independent pattern round-up…

3S stands for super-wide and super simple (both appealing qualities), and this pattern also features some neat alternative options including eyelets and decorative bind-off choices. This shawl really shows off the beautiful colors of Sox.
Heidi Kirrmaier’s Harvest Moon, using Blackstone Tweed
This beautiful top-down cardigan is well-proportioned with a flattering fit. The wide textured neckband is echoed by the curved pockets. The soft Blackstone Tweed yarn perfectly complements this design’s simplicity.

I first found Berroco yarns when looking for a machine washable chunky yarn fora cabled sweater. Berroco Comfort Chunky fit the bill. And Berroco Comfort worsted weight was perfect for a cabled cardigan. Mica turned out to be exactly what I wanted for a lacy summer shrug. Then Comfort again for another cardigan. Though I consider other brands, I’m now hooked on Berroco! The wide range of weights, fibers and colors mean I always find what I’m looking for in one of your lines.

I adore Berroco yarns and have designed several patterns using them. Newly released Fiddlehead Scarf (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/fiddlehead-scarf-2) uses Vintage and the Marilyn Shawl (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/marilyn-shawl) uses Ultra Alpaca Light. I’m currently designing a crocheted wrap using Remix and will be releasing soon two patterns using Ultra Alpaca.
I’m surprised that there were no crochet items using Berroco yarns.
